Client Services

$85,000

At Borderlands Resource Initiative, we are dedicated to providing direct services to asylum seekers and migrants through our partnerships with community organizations. We’re looking for a Client Services Manager to coordinate and assist community partners in Arizona who are serving newly arrived migrants. In this role, you’ll develop systems of support, help manage complex needs, and ensure that every community partner is equipped to deliver essential services.

Why We Need You

This role will provide assistance and support to community partners serving newly arrived asylum seekers and migrants. Your contributions will be critical in ensuring that our partners can deliver life-changing support and resources to the people who need it most. Without your expertise and organization, many of these services may not reach asylum seekers on time, hindering their ability to thrive.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working closely with a diverse range of community partners, streamlining support and resources across states to ensure that asylum seekers and migrants receive holistic care. Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with the coordination of transportation, case management, and medical needs between local Arizona community partners.
• Developing systems of support and resources to enhance service delivery by community partners across states.
• Building strong relationships with partner organizations and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and sharing of best practices.

You Need These Qualifications

• You have experience in community organizing, coordinating with local organizations to provide services to vulnerable populations.
• You have a track record of working with diverse stakeholders and effectively collaborating across sectors to support asylum seekers, migrants, or other vulnerable communities.
• You have strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on results and efficiency.
• You are adept at problem-solving in dynamic environments, finding creative solutions to logistical and operational challenges in service delivery.

It Would Be Nice If...

• You have experience working in nonprofit organizations, with an understanding of mission-driven work and the specific needs of nonprofit environments.
• You’ve worked in shelter environments and understand the practicalities of managing resources, space, and services in those settings.
• You are bilingual in English and Spanish, which will allow you to communicate more effectively with diverse partners and communities.
• You are familiar with community development principles and have experience designing and implementing programs that build capacity and improve service delivery across multiple stakeholders.
